NEWSLETTER - Wednesday 18th November

Apologies for the late issue this week!!

GENERAL

Firstly a massive thanks to the 230+ people that supported and attended our Very Very Early Xmas Party last Friday. It was a brilliant night that everyone appeared to enjoy. The children behaved impeccably and were a credit to their parents - the adults were quite good as well!!

The success of this type of event will mean the club will repeat something similiar in early Spring 2010.

We have had a mixed week when it comes to all our football teams with the weather wiping out a few fixtures

1st Team

No game last Saturday with the heavy rain causing the postponement of our away game against Wednesfield. Let's hope that the weather improves towards the weekend to give our trip to Bromyard Town on Saturday a fighting chance of going ahead.

Under 18's

A week ago saw our Midland Floodlit Youth League side knock Wolverhampton Casuals out of the League Cup with an impressive 3-1 away victory. 2 goals from 1st Team player Alex Perry, making it 11 goals in 10 games this season, and a strike from Harrison Baddams saw the Robins seal victory.

Under 21's

Our team are back in the title race after beating league leaders Bentley Youth by 5 goals to 4. Goals from Harry Williams (2), Scott Mears (2) and Steve Whitehouse gave the Town a fine win in this high scoring game.

Under 17's

Again the weekend fixture fell foul of the bad weather

Under 15's

First defeat of the season for our boys, 1-0 after extra time in the League Cup against Bentley Youth. Although disappointed, the team are still top of the league with maximum points from all their league games this season

Under 14's

2 goals apiece from Jake Fereday and Chaytan Dhillon along with strikes from Sean Round, Nathan Passmore and Kane Bottomer, saw our Under 14's record an impressive away victory against North Warwickshire

Under 10's

Goals from Ryan Robinson and Lewis Price could not prevent our youngest team lose 3-2 away against Wall Heath Pumas
